Jody has been an amazing teacher. We only had 3 lessons together but he made me regain confidence in driving while learning manual. He was always calm and if I made mistakes he corrected me nicely. 10/10 I enjoyed my lessons with Jody.
Jody is truly the best manual instructor in Brisbane, I went through 5 different people before finding him and learnt more in 1 week then I had ever. Truly cares about who he teaches and has the best advice no matter how well you can drive. 100% would choose him from the start if I could do it again.

Amazing experience that I had with Affordable Driving School specially with Jody he is an absolute gem in his job. I felt really comfortable, and he was super clear and patience anytime at giving instructions and I finally got my license. I had previous lesson with a different school, and I just didn't feel the same kindness and attention. Jody is incredible. Thank you!!!
Jody makes the lesson both enjoyable and in a way that challenges and offers constructive feedback. I highly recommend a 2 hour lesson which allows a short drive to a quiet area to start with, and during the lesson even allowing a 5 min break in the middle (i need it as I am noy used yo long drives) which allows advice and feedback to sink in a little better. Get your manual licence by training with Jody It will be worth it!

I really like Jody he's very calm and I'm someone who gets tensed or stressed really easily so having him as an instructor makes me a lot less nervous.

Conducted x7 manual driving lessons, helped improve driving skills and confidence to undertake a manual driving test.
On the day of the driving test, had a 1hr driving test prior to the test (x7 lessons total).
Consideration with better prepararation for the driving test.
1. If student experiences, interference with the clutch pedal due to the floor mat.
Remove the floor mat, instead of the student having to remove their shoes for the driving test.
2. When conducting the 1hr final driving lesson prior to the test, the instructor to conduct an assessment like test driving scenario.
By acting as a formal assessor, directing the student and providing feedback on their progress of passing the test.
Rather than an informal driving lesson with instructions of how to do the manoeuvres.
SUMMARY:
The lessons leading up to test were appropriate. The day of the test was too informal for someone's most important day of driving.
